We all like to think of ourselves as budget conscious and savvy. 

 

Some of us also like to think we are doing something ‘good’ or being ‘green’. 

 

 

You can achieve all of those things by selling your beloved wedding dress at Pre-Loved Bridal Boutique.

 

Wedding dresses are too beautiful to be boxed up and put up in the loft never to be seen for years.

Items I can sell for you include:

  • Wedding Dresses

  • Boleros

  • Tiaras

At Pre-Loved Bridal Boutique we do not purchase wedding dresses instead we sell them on your behalf.

 

I provide a service where I sell pre-loved dresses on behalf of ladies for a selling fee. 

 

How this works is detailed below:

 

You would need to book an evaluation at the boutique where I will advise you on a price to sell your garment.  It is helpful if you could provide in advance the following:

  • Make/design of the dress

  • Size

  • Colour

  • Age (Please note dresses older than 3 years will not be accepted)

  • Original price if known

  • The target price you would like to achieve.

  • Photographs are also very helpful

  • Height in heels (please note any dresses shorter than 5 foot 6 with heels cannot be accepted).

An Evaluation

During the evaluation, if you decide that you would like to go ahead and sell your garment, we draw up a contract with terms and conditions that I can go through with you in detail.  To summarise the main points of the contract:

  • The garment remains in the boutique for a minimum of 4 months

  • After 4 months I may ask you to collect your garment if I feel it won’t sell

  • You give me the authority to photograph your item for use on social media and my website

  • You give me authority to use the item at Bridal Catwalks

  • The fee for selling can vary so please contact me direct for a quote

  • If selling elsewhere as well as at Pre-Loved Bridal Boutique, I ask that you do not advertise your dress at a cheaper price elsewhere.

  • There a nominal fee of £10 per dress to cover the cost of admin, insurance, storage, photography & marketing.

All dresses must be cleaned and in mint condition before I can take them, so please inspect your garment well prior to making the appointment.

Payment

Once your item is purchased by a customer here at the boutique, you will be informed of the sale and payment to you will be arranged once funds have been cleared.  This can be by bank transfer to your chosen bank account or you can collect cash in person.
